Printable bracket FAQ

How do I print a bracket?

Choose the number of teams, type names on the lines if you want them (or leave it blank), and press Print. Every size fits one landscape letter page. In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF to keep a PDF instead.

Can I fill in the bracket before printing?

Yes. Type a name on each line, then switch to Pick winners and tap a name to send it through to the next round. Print it filled in, or blank it again.

What if my number of teams is not 8, 16, 32 or 64?

Pick the exact number anyway. The bracket gives first-round byes to the top seeds so the rest of the draw comes out even: a 12-team bracket gives seeds 1 to 4 a bye, for example.

Which seeds play each other?

The lines follow standard seeding: the best plays the worst (1 v 16, 8 v 9, 4 v 13 and so on in a 16-team bracket), so the top two seeds can only meet in the final.

Is there a double-elimination version?

Yes: the double-elimination bracket page prints a winners bracket, a losers bracket and the final for 3 to 16 teams.
