Blind ranking on a stream or at a party

Press Big screen during a game for a full-screen view that reads from the back of the room or on a stream capture. Let chat or the room shout out each place, then reveal the score at the end. For a party, send everyone the same challenge link: same ten, same order, fairly compared scores.

Blind ranking FAQ

What does blind rank mean?

Blind ranking means ranking things without seeing the whole list first. Items are revealed one at a time and you have to give each a place (#1 to #10 here) before you see what comes next, with no moving them later.

How do you do blind ranking?

Pick a topic and press Start. The first of ten appears: tap the place you think it deserves. Then the next appears, and so on until all ten places are filled. Places you have used are locked, so the later reveals have to fit around your earlier calls.

Why is blind ranking so popular?

Because you have to commit without knowing what is coming. Putting something at #2 and then watching your favourite appear when only #9 is free is funny to play and funnier to watch, which is why it took off on TikTok, YouTube and streams.

Is blind ranking a good party game?

Yes. Put it on a TV with Big screen and let the room argue about each place, or send everyone the same challenge link: every player gets the same ten in the same order, so the scores compare fairly.

How is my blind rank scored?

Your order is compared with the crowd's order for the same ten, from real head-to-head picks on BracketRanker. 100 means you matched the crowd exactly and 0 means the exact reverse; random placing averages about 34. You also see your biggest miss: the one you'd regret.
